In response to an urgent letter from NASW, the CEO of Optum Health will meet with organization leaders regarding Optum’s recent overpayment requests to clinical social workers who were reimbursed at the psychologist rate. The letter notes the serious impact of these requests on social workers and suggests an action plan and possible mitigation measures.
