This one-day workshop will walk social workers at the  BSW, MSW and clinical levels of licensure through the necessary steps to pass the ASWB exam and reduce test anxiety.

Dr. Apgar has extensive experience related to licensing, including serving as the chair of the New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners, as a past president of NASW New Jersey chapter, and as the Deputy Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Human Services. She was recognized by NASWNJ in 2014 with a Lifetime Achievement Award. She has taught in both undergraduate and graduate social work programs and has extensive direct practice, policy, and management experience in the field.

 

Dr. Apgar has written exam guides for each of the levels of licensure, and, as part of your class registration, you’ll receive a comprehensive study guide written for your exam level ($95 retail value!). The guides include test-taking tips, strategies to foster exam confidence, and a practice test with answers.
