NASW President Mildred “Mit” Joyner makes statement on Ukraine crisis.

NASW released a statement this week from NASW President Mildred “Mit” Joyner that strongly opposes Russian leader Putin's invasion of Ukraine. It reads in its entirety the following: "The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) stands with social workers across the globe in denouncing the war that Putin has started in Ukraine. Innocent lives are being lost because of Putin’s lust for power, control, and his hateful rhetoric. Social workers know firsthand the devastating impact war has on people’s lives."
