New AI Training for Social Workers: “The Future Is Here: Ethical What-Ifs of Artificial Intelligence” June 13 (2.5 CEs)
Keep up with the fastest-changing technologies in social work—artificial intelligence (AI)—by registering for NASWVA’s and NASW Metro DC's newest virtual training June 13 from 8:30 to11 a.m.
You’ll earn 2.5 CEs, including 2.5 ethics CEs, while learning about solution-focused AI in social work practice and its potential as an effective tool in reducing professional burnout. Led by Dana Johnson, MSW, CAPSW, you’ll explore ground-breaking efforts that seemed far-fetched in social work, resolve how to best align AI to better build trust, engage diverse voices, reduce bias and discrimination, and learn different AI tools and the ethical dilemmas behind each. You’ll also develop three next steps towards using AI positively in micro, mezzo, or macro practice.
Cost is $50, NASW members; $65, nonmembers. Registration deadline is June 11.
