The Virginia and Metro DC chapters’ On-Demand Conference is accessible now through June 22, allowing social workers to meet all professional development requirements for licensure renewal via one event and at their preferred time and location. June 30 is the deadline for licensed Virginia social workers to submit proof of having earned 30 CEs, including six ethics CEs.

Attendees at the In-Person Conference in March and the repeated sessions at the Virtual Conference in April scored the content and speakers at nearly 4.6 out of 5, and 98% said they would recommend or likely recommend the 35 sessions and keynotes to their peers.

Among the glowing testimonials were the following:

“The content provided during sessions and keynotes were AMAZING!”

“Everything presented was on the mark and informative.”

“Presenters were knowledgeable and dynamic.”

“I gained so much from each workshop and the keynote presentations.”

“Keynote speakers were phenomenal … breakout sessions were great.”

“I really appreciated the diversity of content in the sessions.”

NASW members receive discounted registration to view the sessions 24/7, which cover social work topics such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, trauma, ethics, LGBTQ issues, social and racial justice topics, working with military families and in the courts, child welfare, mental health, and more. NASW CEO Anthony Estreet, PhD, MBA, LCSW-C, also provides an update on social work trends and NASW policy priorities.
