The NASWVA-endorsed bill to approve Virginia membership in an Interstate Social Work Licensure Compact is headed to Gov. Youngkin’s desk for consideration and signature as the 2024 General Assembly winter session nears adjournment. Youngkin already has more than 80 bills awaiting signature or veto by Friday, March 8, with more to come as the Senate and House of Delegates accelerate their final deliberations and negotiations.
