About The Event
This comprehensive 14-hour seminar addresses the most critical issues for the clinical supervisor in social work. Through presentation, large group and small group discussions, the following aspects of supervision will be explored in this training:
1.The purpose, role, and function of supervision;
2.Theories and models of supervision;
3.Oversight and guidance of supervisees, who diagnose, create treatment plans, and treat clients;
4.Individual and group supervision facilitation;
5.Parallel process and the importance of modeling strengths-based principles in supervision;
6.Ethical issues that arise in supervision
